The resort had easy access via the mountain train, gondola and cable car to the 'Jungfrau' ski region.
Grindelweld is an unspoit, traffic-free mountain village with plenty of charm and character with a long tradition of hospitality and friendliness. The resort is dotted with chocolate box chalets, yet the centre has a bustling and cosmopolitan atmosphere. Non-skiers have fantastic winter walking possibilities with the non-skiers lift pass, whilst the village has numerous shops, cosy stublis and cafés.

Grindewald - Ski Resort Information Après Ski: Grindewald offers a good variety to suit all tastes from quiet and informal cafés to lively bars. Try Tipirama or the Rancher after the slopes. Later the Challibar, the C&M cafe and the Espresso bar to name a few. Activities: Sports centre with pool, wellness centre with sauna and massage, curling, ice skating, massage, bowling, snowshoeing, tobogganing (over 50 kms of runs). Eating Out: The village of Grindewald has an abundance of restaurants to choose from, many are hotel based eg the Hirschen, Schmitte and the Alte Post. Try the hotel Spinne for Italian food. The rustic Rancher is recommended plus the Fiescherblick and Eiger.
