A sunny resort set high in the Grandes Rousses mountains, the Alpe d'Huez ski resort resembles a huge open snow-bowl overlooked by the Pic Blanc glacier at 3300 metres. Alpe d’Huez is the fifth largest ski area in France with almost 250kms of skiing and is a haven for all grades of skiers and boarders. The resort boasts a fine snow record due to its high altitude.

Alpe d'Huez is fun & friendly making it is particularly suitable for families. It has an excellent ski school and a wealth of amenities including a superb sports centre and the use of a large outdoor pool and skating rink (which are both FREE with full area lift passes).
