You just cannot beat the Hotel Ustedalen for price, quality and location. The slopes are just 400 metres away (about a 5-minute walk), but if you are too tired then the free ski shuttle bus stops next to the hotel. The hotel has a good reputation for the food and the views from the restaurant are impressive too, whether you are looking over the snow-covered valley at breakfast or at floodlit Geilolia slopes over dinner. There are good facilities including a pool, gym/fitness centre and sauna.
