Ski Festival London 25-28 October
The Telegraph Ski and Snowboard Festival will be held in Battersea park from 25 to 28 October this year and promises to be bigger and better than ever before.
Over the last 40 or so years, “The Ski Show” in London has had several different incarnations, at one point becoming a mecca for pre-season shopping, holiday booking and generally meeting everyone involved in ski and snowboarding. However, it had slightly fallen out of popularity but now with the move from Earls Court to Battersea Park, the show has re-invented itself and is now branded a ‘festival’, regaining its popularity in the process.
So, for 4 days during Half Term, the festival is full of family entertainment with après fun, advice, sports and action as well being a great meeting point for like-minded ski people. This year the event promise to be bigger and better including with the new Snow+Rock Climbing Wall, a vintage Ferris Wheel to be set in the centre of Mountain Village (just outside the centre), dog sledding around Battersea Park and a full line-up of apres events to celebrate 45 years of this iconic ski event.
