The resort of Mayrhofen is located in the picturesque Zillertal valley. The resort is less than 120 miles from Munich and 105 miles from Salzburg. Mayrhofen is part of the Super Zillertal area offering 267 miles of piste.

The resort is aimed more at intermediates with 60% of the runs in their favour. Although there is still a lot for beginners and advanced skiers out there. Snowboarders have it all with some of the best snowboarding in the area. The world famous Air and Style competition adds to this with board parks, half pipes and various jumps.

The ski school is very popular and the resort is a favourite for families. The apres ski includes various bars and restaurants to keep you going thought the night. There are also the typical non skiing activities like skidooing and cross country skiing.
