Ischgl Ski Holidays

High in the Paznaun valley, Ischgl has developed from a traditional farming village into a bustling, popular resort. It is a compact, pretty resorts that has retained its charm. The charming village of Galtur sits at the top of the valley only a 15 minute bus ride awaya and is a great base for families. The Silvretta Area lift pass gives access to 340kms of piste, amazing off-piste and some of the best snowboarding in the Alps. The area also enjoys excellent snow records until late into the season.

Ischgl - Ski Resort Information

Après Ski: Ischgl has some of the best après ski in the Alps! The fun starts early in the afternoon. There are a wide range of bars and nighclubs (many are part of resort hotels) as well as special events throughout the season. Try in the village, the Trofana Alm, the Downunder, the Freeride and the Schatzi bar. Later on there is the Pacha Nightclub (Hotel Madlein), the Living Room and the Coyote Ugly to name a few.

Activities: Floodlit tobogganing (7km), sports centre with Ice skating, curling, 50km winter walks, leisure centre with indoor pool, steam baths & sauna, bowling, indoor tennis, sleigh rides

Eating Out: Ischgl has a good range of restaurants with many hotel based. There is a mixture of themes ranging from traditional to Mexican, fine dining to pizza. For the latter try Grillalm pizzeria, or the splendid Salnerhof and Jagerhof restaurants. Also recommended are the Salz & Pfeffer, La Bamba, Trofana Alm and Kitzloch (for fondue).
