Ski holidays in Switzerland offer the classic destination for your skiing holiday! Skiing holidays in Switzerland have the perfect blend of fantastic skiing and snowboarding, some of Europe's finest on-mountain restaurants, stunning scenery and high standards of service and hospitality.

Most of Switzerland's ski resorts are very snow-sure, have typically un-crowded pistes and with the efficient lift systems, skiing in Swiss resorts is a pleasure, even in the busier periods.

In Switzerland the railways play an important part. You transfer from your arrival airport to your ski resort in Switzerland is often by train. Trains also run to the top of many mountains and double as ski lifts in Switzerland. The traditional, charming resorts have retained their traditional village feel and resorts such as Zermatt, Murren and Wengen are also essentially traffic-free.

Switzerland does have the perception of being expensive. True, it is no longer the reserve of just the rich and famous but it will never be cheap, however much depends on the exchange rate fluctuations at the time.
